Arm to support EDMI with secure IoT deployment

EDMI seeks to cement position as leading smart metering solutions provider through application of Arm's powerful IoT platform

Singapore-based smart metering solutions provider EDMI has announced that it has partnered with British multinational semiconductor and software designer Arm Holdings to simplify the deployment of secure Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

The partnership will see the combination of EDMI’s state of the art smart metering solutions with Arm’s Mbed OS and Pelion IoT platform, enabling EDMI to both cement its position as a leader in the space and enable it to explore other IoT verticals.

"We are thrilled to announce this partnership. Leveraging our heritage in smart metering, the partnership with Arm will bring added value to our customers, which includes scalable, secure and IoT-enabled smart metering solutions," said How New Seng, CEO of EDMI, in the firm’s 27 March press release.
