"We recently launched the Cyber Defence Platform (CDP) to offer security services to our customers. It helps us to be a leader in the security space," Wipro Chief Operating Officer Bhanumurthy Ballapuram told the Deccan Herald.

"If I see a threat coming from one environment to another, CDP will alert all others to work together and work fast. It helps others to be vigilant and get ready for any eventuality. Our cybersecurity proposition is one of the best in class and it is witnessing good traction in the market."

Wipro also announced on Monday its plans for a new 50-acre facility in Bengaluru that will eventually have space for 30,000 employees, replacing its current headquarters. Staff will be moved to the space over the next two years, with the campus described as an 'agile workspace aimed at the digital worker'.
