The new feature underlines Amazon’s keen interest to expand its payment service in India.
The deal will also help ClearTrip gain a larger foothold in the region.
Launched in 2016, Amazon Pay allows Indian consumers to pay for their water and electricity bills, buy TV subscriptions, top up their phones and more.
In the past, the American e-commerce firm has also teamed up with other companies such as movie ticketing site BookMyShow, food delivery startup Swiggy and bus-ticketing startup Redbus to embed Amazon Pay into many popular Indian services.
To promote Amazon Pay, the business is offering cash back to those who make purchases using the platform.
